Associates of Intellectual Mission (AIM) was established on March 30, 2005, with the sole aim of serving society's welfare, mainly the ordinary people. Dr. K. Kumarasamy, Director of Collegiate Education, Coimbatore, inaugurated the office on May 22, 2005.
We are proud that AIM has been serving the public since 2005. AIM NGO is registered with the Communication and Capacity Development Unit of the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board as an NGO with Enrolment No. 05/NGO/CCDU/TAMILNADU/TWAD/2006. Through the schemes envisaged by the Government of India and the Tamil Nadu State governments, we associated with Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board to have conducted many HRD and IEC activities in rural and urban areas of Tamil Nadu.
During carriying our our acivites, we observed the day-to-day problems being faced by the common people in rural and urban areas in leading a healhy life. we extend our fullest support to the sanitation programs in making the city or village clean by wholeheartedly participating in the "Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan" activities. AIM NGO’s contribution in carriying out the message of TWAD Board to the common people.
AIM NGO actively associated with TWAD Boad since 2006 spreading the motto and essence of central government's schemes like Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission, Swajaldhara Project, National Rural Drinking Water Programme, and Jal Jeevan Mission following their guidelines and implementation of the following schemes in many districts of Tamilnadu, mainly in Coimbatore and Nilgiris Districts
Who We Are
Established on March 30, 2005, AIM is a registered NGO affiliated with the Communication and Capacity Development Unit of the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board. Inaugurated by Dr. K. Kumarasamy, former Director of Collegiate Education, AIM is deeply rooted in public welfare, especially for rural and underserved communities.
We are proud to have served both rural and urban communities across Tamil Nadu through HRD (Human Resource Development), IEC (Information, Education, and Communication), health, environmental, and educational initiatives. We extend our wholehearted support to sanitation and conservation programmes, contributing actively, making cities and villages cleaner by participating enthusiastically in government missions like Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission, Swajaldhara Project, Jal Jeevan Mission, and National Rural Drinking Water Programme.
