Swachh Bharat Mission

A number of Awareness programs were conducted among the public to make them understand the importance and the need for solid waste management and the segregation of waste at the source.

The training was provided to NSS students of Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology - on Swachh Bharat Mission activities.

With the support of student volunteers, door-to-door awareness has been created on the usage of cloth bags saying “no plastic”

We are planning to raise awareness about using cloth bags and avoiding plastic in and around Coimbatore city. We would also like to raise awareness among the floating population surrounding Perur Temple to protect Padithurai from pollution. AIM NGO also is planning on selling fewer cloth bags to the general public.

What is next

AIM NGO will work following the principles of the Swachh Bharat Movement and Jal Shakti Abhiyan programs of the Government of India in close association with local bodies and strive hard to educate the common public and inculcate to change their lifestyle to lead a healthier life in an environmentally friendly atmosphere through various awareness programs., IEC activities and imparting pieces of training.
